Jeanne McMaster, CFO
Jeanne McMaster, CPA, joined Cumberland Development in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer. Her experience in all areas of financial management has helped Cumberland develop and expand its operations.
Cumberland Development has multiple inter-related entities which require cash management, internal and external financial reporting, capital and operating budgets, tax planning, and loan requirement compliance. In addition, the Baker Electric Building received historic and new market tax credits which Jeanne administers to maintain auditor, banking and investor relationships.
In 2010, the Independence property expanded to accommodate the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Business Operations Center. Jeanne added value with her experience throughout the construction and financing process with the Port Authority. She continues to work with the bondholders and Port Authority with on-going reporting and compliance requirements.
In 2012, Cumberland master leased the retail portions of the Colonial and Euclid Arcades. Capital planning and renovation of the re-branded 5th Street Arcades includes new tenant spaces, interior and exterior renovations and pursuing funding opportunities.
Prior experience includes eleven years working with Westlake Reed Leskosky, an area architecture firm with offices in multiple cities. Jeanne’s contribution there included all the financial, legal, human resource, insurance, administrative and leadership programs.
In the late 1990’s Jeanne worked for the Cleveland Bar Association and was responsible for their accounting, budgeting, cash management, membership and other administrative projects in support of the Board of Trustee Strategic Plan.
Jeanne’s experience as a CPA and her MBA has led to numerous volunteer positions including leadership as finance committee chair, fundraising chair and advisor to religious, educational and other non profit groups in the Cleveland area.
