Downtown Cleveland Lakefront Development
Cumberland Development has been awarded the opportunity to develop over 20 acres of the most sought after prime real estate in Northeast Ohio, the Cleveland Lakefront. Situated among First Energy Stadium, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Great Lakes Science Center, and Lake Erie, this project is creating a walkable mixed-use neighborhood and bringing vibrancy to the Cleveland Waterfront.
The development plan envisions over 1 million square feet of total development including up to 750,000 square feet of new office space, over 600 apartments, a school and daycare serving downtown Cleveland residents, a boutique branded hotel, and 30,000 square feet of retail.
+ PHASE 1 PROJECT SUMMARY-NORTH COAST HARBOR
Phase 1 of the development includes the new restaurant on Voinovich Park, Nuevo, and a new mixed-use building with retail, office and luxury residences next to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Harbor Verandas. The first phase includes amenities like sand volleyball courts, bocce ball courts as well as adding trees and improving landscaping.
+ PHASE 2 PROJECT SUMMARY-HARBORVIEW
Phase 2 of the development takes advantage of the largest shovel ready site in downtown Cleveland. HarborView is 18 acres of former Port Authority property which is ready for construction immediately. The vision is a walkable, mixed use, live/work neighborhood with over 600 apartments and townhomes, a 180 room hotel, 50,000 square feet of creative workspace, restaurants and convenience retail, and a corporate office building as the anchor.
• We are able to provide up to 6 acres for a corporate facility. The site has the ability to provide ample future expansion space. We believe the northeast corner of the site has the most dramatic views of not only the Lake and Harbor, but spectacular views of downtown as well.
